Projects

Please click on the buttons above to see how our projects have progressed over the years.

Since 2003 we have been working on many projects to help secure a better future for the people of Si-Kunda and its surrounding areas.  These include making the village school safe for the children and improving its facilities, providing many supplies to the schools in the area, installing computer equipment, rebuilt the medical centre, dug new wells, created a garden project for the women of Si-Kunda to enable them to be more self-sufficient, and much much more.

As well as us visiting regularly, Sankung's work in The Gambia is invaluable in helping us to achieve all of our aims, enabling us to keep very close contact with the progress of our projects and with all the children.

We continue to hold many fund-raising events here in the UK and receive further funds through individual sponsorship. We have plant sales, cake sales, barbeques, Xmas sales, sponsored runs, etc. Any further suggestions or ideas are gratefully received!

If you would like us to give a talk and presentation to your school / group / club / company, then please contact Sue Jones.

Please refer to our 'Donations / Sponsorship' page to view the items we are currently trying to collect and provide to the schools.
